Mizpah Caravan is a 23ft luxury caravan providing spectacular views from it's private location, six minutes walk from the picturesque village of Poolewe, seven minutes walk from the world famous tropical Gardens of Inverewe and two minutes walk from the seashore.

The caravan provides a peaceful and relaxing holiday for those who enjoy, walking, fishing, mountain climbing, birdwatching, photography, geology, and archaeology.

There are books of short walks available in the caravan.

Walkers will enjoy the bird songs, the fresh sea air, and the breath taking scenery of mountains, glens, lochs and rivers.

In particular the sun setting over the waters of Lochewe is spectacular.

Commonly seen are many birds including herons, ducks, buzzards, eagles, dippers, swallows, etc.

Those with an interest in geology will find much of interest including Torridon Sandstone, Cambrian Quartzite and Lewisian Gneiss. In the past Agalmatolite, Agate Barytes, Calcite Rock Crystals, Serpentine, etc., have also been found.

Historians can spend time in the Heritage Museum in Gairloch, where they can see how people lived in the villages of the area in the past.

Poolewe was once a market place where the people of the Islands came to sell their cattle. The old drove roads still exist and are of interest to a great many.

World War Two saw much activity in Lochewe and there are many relics in the area of that time.

Fishing enthusiasts will enjoy the loch, river and sea angling available in the area.

Other facilities available within 7 miles include a swimming pool, golf course, beaches, churches, shops ranging from craft goods to butchers, and fish and chips shops.

The restaurants and hotels of the area provide excellent cuisine, many using local produce, especially seafood at reasonable prices.

A fire alarm and fire extinguisher are installed for the safety of the guests.
