'Kinlochewe Mountain Chalets' is in the village of Kinlochewe, which lies 50 miles (80Km) northwest of Inverness at the base of Glendocherty Pass next to the Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve.

The nearest grocery shop is 100 yards from property.

The local hotel offers dinner menus and bar meals.

There is a separate, spacious drying room with ample hanging space, a washing machine and tumble drier, free for the use of guests.

The Mountain Chalets are located in three acres of beech, alder and rowan woodland offering superb views of the magnificent surrounds of Wester Ross and close to the village shop and hotel.

The Four Chalets enjoy superb views to Beinn Eighe, Stac Mhor and Slioch and provide a perfect base for hill walking, mountaineering, those who enjoy nature, wildlife, photography, painting or anyone seeking a peaceful relaxing holiday in the tranquillity of this unique location.

The timber chalets are cosy, well equipped, and have modern comforts and amenities.

Mountain bike hire is available either daily, weekend or weekly and fishing permits can be obtained from the village craft shop.

The village of Gairloch (21 miles) has a good shopping center containing a bank, post office, garage facilities as well as a fine Leisure Centre and Heritage Centre and horse riding/trekking centre.

From Gairloch there are fishing trips as well as pleasure cruises available on local boats.

Golfers can enjoy the 9-hole links course in Gairloch or the 9-hole course at Lochcarron which lies 30 miles to the south.

A visit to the Tropical Gardens at Inverewe (5 miles from Gairloch) is high on the agenda of a great many visitors to the area.

Those wishing to tour and explore the region will enjoy a visit to Ullapool (57 miles) with its ferry service to Stornoway, while approximately 40 miles south, the new road bridge (toll payable) gives access to the famed beauty of the Isle of Skye.
