Seafront Showing Cottage   Seafront MacDuff


Located in the fishing village of MacDuff, on the Moray Firth coast, this traditional cottage is set back from the sea.

It has a kitchen, bathroom, dining room and lounge on the ground floor. Upstairs is one double and one twin bedroom.

There is a sheltered patio area to the rear and a gated grassed area to the front.

Boat trips for dolphin spotting or sea fishing are available from MacDuff Harbour and there is a marine aquarium in MacDuff. Locally caught seafood is available.

MacDuff is conveniently placed for the Whisky, Castle and Fishing Heritage Trails.

Other places of interest include Duff House in Banff, Buckie Drifter Museum, the Scottish Tartan Museum in Keith, Baxters of Speyside, the Ice House at Tuget and the nature reserve at Spey Bay.

Activities in the area include several golf courses, fishing, pony trekking, mountain biking, hill walking and bird watching.

There is a sandy beach at Banff Links which is 3 miles along the coast.

There are numerous coastal walks and many are suitable for cyclists.

There are bus facilities in MacDuff. Aberdeen is some 45 miles away and Inverness 75 miles.

A new ten pin bowling alley is available in Macduff.

There are indoor swimming pools at Banff and Turriff and a leisure centre in Elgin that also has a skating rink.
